Member Participation
Student Scholarships
Annually, three $2,000 scholarships are awarded to Camden County
high school students based on essays submitted to the Kiwanis Club
Scholarship Committee. The scholarships must be used to attend an
accredited college, university, or trade/vocational school. One of the
scholarships is awarded to a CCHS Key Club member. There is no
minimum GPA requirement or a transcript to be elegible for this
scholarship.
STAR Student
The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program
honors Camden County's outstanding high school seniors and
teachers with the highest GPA score.
Baseball Clinic
Annually, the Camden County High School baseball team
conducts a clinic for students interested in baseball. The
Kiwanis assists in conducting the clinic by preparing food
for the students.

Sea Scouts
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a non-profit youth program
for Americans ages 11 through 17 in more than 380 units in 48
states, Guam and Puerto Rico. It provides compelling,
life-changing programs that instill the values of teamwork,
discipline, camaraderie and service through its passionate
all-volunteer force and our partnerships with our nation's
armed forces.
True Freedom Learning Center
True Freedom is a nonprofit preschool that helps children
focus on emotional intelligence which is essential for
academic performance. Preschoolers are also taught coping
skills and constructive ways to deal with frustation.
Camden County High School Fine Arts Academy
Its goal has been to provide opportunities for families to have
fun working together on a theater production.
